(Chances Are, You'll Find The Bowed Psaltery You're
Looking For Right Here!)
A wide variety of figured woods, mother of pearl,
gems, and rosettes to choose from. A tiered rose, constructed of real
wood, is pictured above.
High quality tonewoods, such as the Spruce top,
Rosewood sides, and Ebony bridge shown above, are used to obtain the best
sound possible.

Hear all the natural notes of a 30-string bowed
psaltery being played. (This is my standard stringing, using
nickel-plated wound strings, with a range of G3 to G6.)
Additional Features:
(Available For All Psalteries, But Sub-Divided Into
Two Separate Categories.)
Only established and recognized tonewoods (like the
spruce above) are used for tops.
Take All Of These Features, and Combine Them With Two
More Things:
I Specialize In Bowed Psalteries.
I offer a lifetime guarantee on all instruments I
sell.
My name is Eric Meier,
and I am a luthier (maker of stringed instruments), who
specializes in making only one single instrument: the bowed psaltery. I don't
even make the bows!
I feel that this emphasis on only one type of instrument gives me the
unique opportunity to focus all of my energies and thoughts on a single
goal: to build the best bowed psaltery possible. I am continuously seeking
out new and innovative ways to build and design psalteries, and I think
that this shows in the instruments I have for sale.
I stand behind every
single bowed psaltery that I build. I have tried very hard to make these
instruments to the very best of my ability, and without compromise.
Nevertheless, I am not perfect, and I can't always foresee every possible
situation and instance that the instrument will encounter.
If any defect or other problem arises due to materials used or
workmanship, I will fix or replace it for free, excluding the cost of
shipping it to me. No time limits.
But
don't take my word for it: check out my ever-changing blog
to get a behind the scenes look at my shop, and what others have to say
about the psalteries that I am building for them.
